Privacy Policy
HeightBuddy (heightbuddy.com) is a free height comparison tool. This page explains what information is involved when you use it.
Information you enter
HeightBuddy has no accounts and no sign-up. The names and heights you type into the chart are processed in your browser and are not sent to our server. When you use Share, the comparison is stored in the link itself (after the # sign), which browsers do not send to our server.
Hosting and technical data
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Fonts
We load fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files directly from Google, which receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
Cookies and advertising
HeightBuddy does not set its own cookies. We may show ads on this site. If we do:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Children
HeightBuddy is a general audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we add analytics, advertising or other services, we will update this page and the date above.
